45-Day Impoundment Appeals
Did you lend your car to friend or family member, not knowing they were a prohibited driver?
Did someone get your car impounded after borrowing it without your consent?
Is your primary means of transportation locked away in a tow lot for the next 45 days?
In some circumstances, you may be able to appeal a long-term vehicle impoundment to the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT).
The circumstances for such an appeal are limited but may be applicable to your case. If you need your car back, an appeal may be appropriate.
In the event you are successful in your appeal, you may also be entitled to a full refund of the tow and storage costs up to the date of your vehicle’s release.
Prevail Paralegal Services has experience with this process and can assist you in determining whether an appeal is appropriate in your given situation.
Consultations are 100% FREE. Call or email today to discuss your next steps.
